There are many meaningful ways to support the work of The Ella Foundation:

Follow and share our work: Help us spread the word by following us on social media and sharing our updates with your network.

Make a donation: All donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible. Each giving tier includes tailored benefits, invitations to special events, and personalised acknowledgements.

Purchase from our shop: Every purchase directly supports our programs and helps us continue creating opportunities for First Nations dancers.

Partner with us: Email us if you or your organisation would like to partner with us or provide in-kind or pro-bono services.

Provide a scholarship through your dance school: Eligible dance schools and teachers can offer their own student scholarships through our Donation Deed Policy.

Donate studio space or dancewear: We gratefully accept studio access or dancewear donations that fit within the scope of our programs.

Volunteer your time: Support us by volunteering at events or helping us fundraise to support our programs.

Express your interest in joining our team: We welcome Expressions of Interest for ongoing roles, including Board Directors, First Nations Artists and Dance Teachers. If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, we encourage you to reach out.

Fund an ELLA Foundation Scholarship at your School

The ELLA Foundation invites selected dance schools to offer scholarships directly to First Nations students attending their school. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting a young dancer you already know, teach, and believe in.

How It Works

  • Support a Student in Your School: When scholarship applications open in November, help an eligible First Nations student at your school—whether new or currently enrolled—to apply.

  • Sign the Deed and Provide Funding: If your student is successful in receiving a scholarship, we will provide a Donation Deed to formalise your support. The full donation is made upfront by you, and a tax-deductible receipt will be issued following your contribution.

  • Quarterly Check-ins and Payments: You’ll complete quarterly check-ins with The ELLA Foundation to confirm the student’s ongoing attendance and engagement. Scholarship funds will then be distributed quarterly to your nominated bank account.

  • Acknowledging Your Support: You’ll receive recognition in our annual report and an acknowledgment on The ELLA Foundation’s website and social media platforms
