The ELLA Foundation offers a range of scholarships and mentoring opportunities to support First Nations dancers aged 7–25. This program recognises different stages of a dancer’s journey — from first steps in the studio to advanced training for those moving into pre-professional pathways.

First Nations Cultural Responsiveness Training For Dance Schools and Teachers

This three-part training program is designed for dance schools and educators to build practical understanding of First Nations cultural responsiveness. The course is accessible and engaging, supporting staff at all levels of experience to confidently embed culturally responsive principles into their everyday teaching and organisational practice.

The Yurali Ensemble Ballet is designed to nurture and empower First Nations youth through the art of ballet. Open to young people aged 7–25, the ensemble welcomes dancers of all experience levels — from those taking their first steps to seasoned performers seeking deeper cultural and creative connection.

Based on Wiradjuri Country in Wagga Wagga, The Barradambang Dancers provide First Nations youth with opportunities to connect with culture through dance. It nurtures creativity, confidence, and cultural pride through storytelling, movement, and performance in both community and professional settings.
