Mentoring Program

The Mentoring Program is open to all First Nations youth aged 7–25. All scholarship applicants are automatically entered into the program.

Through tailored mentorship, The ELLA Foundation supports young people to develop their artistic and cultural practice while continuing their regular dance training.

  • Ages 7–12: Mentees participate in online group mentoring sessions throughout the year.

  • Ages 13–25: Mentees are matched with a First Nations mentor who has the skills, knowledge, and experience to guide them in the dance and performing arts industry.

Learn more about our current Mentors here.

Mentors provide a safe and supportive space for mentees to explore their goals, challenges, and aspirations. By sharing their personal and professional networks, mentors can open pathways to further training opportunities and offer practical guidance to support ongoing education and artistic development.
